Drawing inspiration from the legendary Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Tropical Babylon transports you to a lush and fantastical paradise filled with sweeping palms and cascading foliage. Hidden amongst the abundant greenery, an elegant architectural structure emerges, with classical arches offering tantalising glimpses into the landscape beyond. Painted in soft, watered-down gouache, the design has a wonderfully decorative quality reminiscent of traditional Chinoiserie-style patterns.

Tropical Babylon forms part of Story Garden, the first chapter of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, exploring the stories woven in and around cultivated botanical spaces, from historic pleasure gardens to wartime victory gardens.
