Liberty Fabrics Tana Lawn® Orchard Fresco A

Inspired by the softly weathered beauty of ancient Roman frescoes, Orchard Fresco is a wonderfully textured scenic design that takes its cues from the colours and surfaces uncovered in Pompeii. A sunlit orchard unfolds across the fabric, where orange and lemon trees flourish amongst delicate blossoming flowers.

Created in the Liberty design studio using layers of crumpled and collaged tissue paper, the artwork beautifully recreates the tactile quality and powdery hues of historic frescoes. The result has a gently aged, almost time-worn appearance, giving this Mediterranean garden scene a wonderfully atmospheric feel.

Orchard Fresco forms part of Gallery Garden, the second chapter of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, exploring the history of gardens and the art they have inspired through the ages, from Egyptian and Roman influences to Persian miniature gardens and Japanese Zen landscapes.
