Inspired by the peaceful beauty of Japanese gardens, Kanazawa Lake captures a wonderful sense of calm and stillness. Softly painted water textures create space across the design, while sculptural peonies, lotuses and camellias appear to emerge gently from the surface amongst organic rock formations.

Hand-painted in delicate layers of brushstrokes, the flowers and water flow together with a soft, gentle rhythm. Serene and beautifully balanced, Kanazawa Lake has a wonderfully tranquil quality, bringing the quiet atmosphere of a Japanese garden to the fabric.

Kanazawa Lake forms part of Gallery Garden, the second chapter of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, exploring the history of gardens and the art they have inspired through the ages, from Egyptian and Roman influences to Persian miniature gardens and Japanese Zen landscapes.
