Liberty Fabrics Tana Lawn® Isolde B

Originally introduced as a Liberty furnishing fabric in 1979, Isolde captures the romantic charm of an idyllic secret garden glimpsed through an ornate iron gate. Curling vines and leafy stems weave amongst wild roses, primroses, carnations, fuchsia and bellflowers, creating a beautifully abundant botanical design.

Look a little closer and delicate dotted scrollwork appears in the background, inspired by decorative Victorian wrought iron. Reminiscent of the grand gates and entrances of historic gardens, the design has a wonderfully romantic, slightly overgrown feel, as though nature is slowly reclaiming its place.

Isolde forms part of Story Garden, the first chapter of the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, exploring the stories woven in and around cultivated botanical spaces, from historic pleasure gardens to wartime victory gardens.
