Singularly Black - A novel charcoal edition with exquisite quality
"Charcoal Edition” has rich and luminous dark black, which is the outcome of outstanding technology using oxide films. The film is thickened at a microscopic level to reduce reflected light, giving the surface a sleek black appearance while allowing the natural metallic luster to shine through.
It uses electrical and chemical technology to thicken the oxide film to approximately 0.4μm to suppress and control reflected light, resulting in a highly lustrous dark black color.
This remarkable technology strengthens the abrasion and corrosion resistance of metals without painting, coating, or coloring.
Oxide film occurs naturally on metals and is environmentally friendly, and the product is completely recyclable.
Charcoal Edition Fixing Method
Charcoal Edition uses a rivet (made of brass) to fix the body and the spring, while the normal product (stainless steel/silver) uses spot welding to attach it.

The Birdy Kwānt Strainer is the perfect match for the large-size MT800 Mixing Tin and just about any other over-sized mixing glass still unbroken on your back bar. The strainer drops comfortably into the tin to hold the ice in place as you strain and pour, with a slightly narrow handle to fit small hands as easily as large ones. The high-polish finish wipes clean easily to match the elegance of your other Birdy bar tools.

The Kwānt Strainer slides smoothly into the 80 Tin or any other large-size tin to hold ice as you roll cocktails. The angle of the handle is designed to fit comfortably when used in either direction, and all of the edges are smoothed to allow handling without the risk of cutting your hands or fingers.
